Once Upon a Time in... Hollywierd follows the tumultuous journey of Rick Smiley Dolphin, a former adult film star struggling to rebuild his life in the cutthroat world of Hollywood. Desperate to regain his fame and fortune, Rick spends most of his days reminiscing about his past successes and licking lollipops, finding solace in the company of his easygoing best friend and longtime sex body double, Cliff Power Boost.
Living next door to Roman Polanowski's son, Rick becomes intrigued by the Hollywood elite and the glitz and glamour that surrounds them. He starts attending star-studded parties and attempting to infiltrate the industry, hoping for a chance to prove himself and once again be recognized for his talents.
