In the movie On Her Majesty's Secret Service, James Bond is played by actor George Lazenby, who replaced Sean Connery in the role. The story is based on the novel of the same name by Ian Fleming.
The movie begins with Bond saving Tracy Draco (played by Diana Rigg) from a suicide attempt, after which he learns she is the daughter of a powerful European crime lord named Marc-Ange Draco. In exchange for Bond's help in locating Blofeld (played by Telly Savalas), Draco convinces Bond to marry Tracy.
Bond learns that Blofeld is hiding in a remote mountaintop clinic, disguised as a center for allergies. There, Blofeld is conducting experiments on women to create a lethal virus, which he plans to use to hold the world ransom.
Bond poses as a genealogist and infiltrates the clinic, where he discovers Blofeld's plan and attempts to stop him. However, Bond is captured and taken to Blofeld's base of operations where he also encounters several of the beautiful women who have been trained by Blofeld.
In the end, Bond escapes, and with Tracy's help, foils Blofeld's plan and apprehends him. However, the victory is bittersweet as Bond's new wife is tragically killed by Blofeld's henchwoman, Irma Bunt.
On Her Majesty's Secret Service is often regarded as one of the most underrated Bond films and is noted for its dramatic ending and emotional depth.
