In the movie, the Stooges overhear a conversation about uranium and decide to head to the country to prospect for it. Along the way, they meet a beautiful woman named Rita who owns an oil rig and is searching for oil. The Stooges team up with Rita and her crew to find uranium and strike it rich.
As they are drilling, they accidentally strike oil on their father's property. However, they soon discover that their greedy neighbor, J.P. Morgan (not to be confused with the famous financier), wants to take the oil for himself. The Stooges and Rita devise a plan to outsmart Morgan and keep the oil for themselves.
Meanwhile, the Stooges' father becomes very ill and needs an expensive operation. With the money from the oil, they are able to pay for the operation and save their father's life. In the end, the Stooges and Rita agree to split the profits from the oil and continue their prospecting adventures together.
