In Oh, God!, the assistant grocery manager, Jerry Landers (played by John Denver), is approached by God (played by George Burns) in the form of an old man while on his lunch break. God enlists Jerry to be his messenger, telling him to spread the word that He still exists and wants people to be kind to one another.
At first, Jerry is skeptical and unsure of what to do with this seemingly impossible task, but as he begins to spread God's message, he faces skepticism and ridicule from his family, friends, and even his boss, who doesn't want him promoting religion in the workplace.
Despite the obstacles and challenges, Jerry persists and gains a following of people who are inspired by his message of love and kindness. However, when a group of religious leaders seek to prove Jerry is a fraud and discredit him, he must prove once and for all that he is truly a messenger of God.
Oh, God! is a heartwarming and humorous film that encourages viewers to believe in something greater than themselves and spread positivity and love in the world.
