Joel Flanagan, a young and ambitious heir to a Mexican fast-food franchise, is tasked with finding the next big thing in cuisine to add to their menu. He travels to small towns across the country in search of the perfect dish, but nothing seems to catch his eye until he stumbles upon a small New Mexican town.
There he meets Javiera Torres, a fiesty and talented chef who runs her own authentic restaurant in the middle of the dusty town. Her food attracts foodies from all over the country, and Joel is immediately drawn to her fiery personality and flavorful dishes.
