Nowhere to Run is a 1993 American action film directed by Robert Harmon and starring Jean-Claude Van Damme, Rosanna Arquette, Kieran Culkin, and Ted Levine.

The movie begins with escaped convict Sam Gillen (Jean-Claude Van Damme) hiding out in a forest after escaping from a prison transport. He stumbles upon a nearby farmhouse owned by a young widow named Clydie (Rosanna Arquette) who is trying to raise her two children, Bree (Kieran Culkin) and Mookie, on her own after her husband's death.

Gillen decides to help Clydie after discovering that a corrupt land developer named Franklin Hale (Joss Ackland) and his henchmen are trying to force her to sell her land so they can build a shopping mall. Gillen and Clydie begin a romantic relationship while he trains Bree how to defend himself against the developers' hired guns, led by Jacko (Ted Levine).

As the story progresses, the situation becomes increasingly dangerous as the developers escalate their threats against Clydie and her family. Eventually, Gillen must use all of his skills and knowledge to protect the family and ensure justice is served.

The movie features several action-packed scenes, including a showdown between Gillen and Jacko at a rundown motel. Nowhere to Run was generally well-received by critics and became a box office hit, grossing over $22 million worldwide.
