In November Criminals, Addison (Ansel Elgort) is a high school senior who lives in a suburb of Washington D.C. He is best friends with Kevin (Jared Kemp), who is murdered in broad daylight while walking home from school.
The police write off Kevin's death as a random act of violence, but Addison is not convinced. With the help of his classmate Phoebe (Chloë Grace Moretz), he begins to investigate the circumstances surrounding Kevin's death.
As they dig deeper, they uncover a web of deceit, corruption, and betrayal that goes all the way to the top of the local government. The more they learn, the more dangerous their investigation becomes, and soon they find themselves in the crosshairs of some very powerful people.
Despite the risks, Addison and Phoebe refuse to give up until they uncover the truth about Kevin's death. The deeper they get, however, the more they realize that the truth is darker than they ever could have imagined, and they may not be able to handle the consequences of their actions.
