As Andrew and Dave try to figure out what has happened and why they are alone in this strange white void, they begin to discover that they have the power to create anything they want simply by imagining it. This leads to a series of hilarious and surreal adventures as they create everything from a giant snail to a talking tree to a group of beautiful women who only speak in song.
However, their newfound powers also bring unexpected consequences, such as the appearance of a giant, malevolent cube that seems intent on destroying everything they create. As they try to figure out how to defeat the cube and escape the void, they come to realize that they must confront their own fears and weaknesses in order to find a way out.
Nothing is a surreal, absurdist comedy that explores themes of friendship, creativity, and the power of imagination. Directed by Vincenzo Natali and starring David Hewlett and Andrew Miller, it premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival in 2003 and has since become a cult classic.
