Not A Thing tells the story of identical twin sisters, Ava and Emma, who were separated at birth when their parents got divorced. Ava was raised by their father in a wealthy suburb while Emma was brought up by their mother in a struggling neighborhood.
Despite their vastly different upbringings, both sisters share a love for music and dream of becoming successful musicians. Ava has been trained in classical piano and is performing in prestigious venues while Emma plays in bars and street corners to make ends meet.
One day, Ava decides to finally reach out to Emma and they meet for the first time. However, their reunion is far from perfect as they struggle to bridge the gap between their different worlds and personalities.
As they spend more time together, the sisters discover secrets from their past and realize that their paths might not have been so different after all. With a newfound understanding of each other, they collaborate on a musical project that could change their lives forever.
