Nomad follows the story of Cole, a successful chef in Los Angeles who is forced to return to his hometown in rural Nevada to care for his ailing father. While back home, he reunites with his former high school sweetheart, Maya, who is now divorced with a teenage son. As they spend time together, they begin to realize that they still have feelings for each other and wonder what could have been if they had stayed together all those years ago. However, they must navigate the challenges of their past and present lives in order to determine if they can have a future together. Along the way, they also explore the beauty and isolation of the Nevada desert and the inherent challenges of small-town life.
