In No Time for Nuts, the beloved character Scrat from the Ice Age movie series stumbles upon a time machine and accidentally activates it while trying to bury his beloved acorn. He is then transported to various eras, including the prehistoric age, the Renaissance period, and even the future.
Throughout his journey, Scrat must dodge various obstacles and creatures, always in pursuit of his acorn. He interacts with different historical figures, such as Leonardo da Vinci and his winged flying machine, and experiences different cultures and lifestyles.
At one point, Scrat even finds himself in a future where robots have taken over the world and he must fight against them to retrieve his acorn. However, he eventually finds himself back in his own time, which is now greatly changed due to his time-traveling exploits.
