In No Retreat, No Surrender, after Jason and his family move to Seattle, he starts to train in martial arts under the tutelage of Bruce Lee's ghost (played by Kim Tai-chung) in his father's gym. Meanwhile, the local bullies, led by a bully named Scott (played by Christopher Khayman Lee), continue to torment Jason and his family. When his father's gym is taken over by a group of gangsters, led by the ruthless Ivan Kraschinsky (played by Jean-Claude Van Damme in one of his first film roles), Jason must use his martial arts skills to save the gym and his family.

As his training with Bruce Lee's ghost intensifies, Jason becomes more confident and skilled in martial arts. He participates in several tournaments, including one where he fights Scott, who is defeated by Jason's now-advanced skills. His victory angers Ivan, who sees Jason as a threat to his status as a martial arts champion.

In the final showdown, Ivan challenges Jason to a fight to the death. The two engage in an intense battle that pushes both fighters to their limits. Ultimately, Jason emerges as the victor, thanks to his years of training and the guidance of Bruce Lee's ghost.

No Retreat, No Surrender was released in 1986 and directed by Corey Yuen. The film was praised for its martial arts choreography and became a cult classic among martial arts fans.
