No Manches Frida 2 is a 2019 Mexican comedy film directed by Nacho G. Velilla and written by Claudio Herrera and Sergio Adrian Sánchez. The movie is a sequel to the 2016 film No Manches Frida and stars Omar Chaparro, Martha Higareda, and Carla Adell.
In the film, ex-con Zequi (Chaparro) returns to his job as a teacher at Frida Kahlo High School, where he reunites with his fellow teachers, including Lucy (Higareda) and Mario (Fernando Becerril). However, his fresh start is cut short when the school is threatened with closure due to low academic performance.
In order to save the school, Zequi and his students must compete in a national academic competition against their rival school. The gang travels to a beach resort to prepare for the competition, but they soon find themselves in a series of misadventures and hijinks.
Meanwhile, a love triangle develops between Zequi, Lucy, and the new teacher, Isabella (Adell), who seems to have an agenda of her own. As the competition draws closer, Zequi must choose between his love interests and lead his team to victory.
No Manches Frida 2 received mixed reviews from critics, but was a box office success, earning over $26 million worldwide. It is known for its comedic performances and vibrant cinematography.
