No Escape is a 2015 survival thriller starring Owen Wilson, Lake Bell, and Pierce Brosnan. The movie centers on a family named the Dwyers who move to an unnamed Southeast Asian country for work. Jack Dwyer (played by Wilson) is a businessman who has just been hired by a multinational corporation to oversee their water manufacturing plant in the country. He is accompanied by his wife Annie (played by Bell) and their two young daughters, Lucy and Beeze.
At first, the family is excited about their new lifestyle and the adventure of living in a new country. However, their excitement is short-lived as they soon discover that the country is in the midst of a violent coup led by local rebels who are angry with the government's ties to foreign corporations.

Together, the group embarks on a dangerous journey through the war-torn country, risking their lives at every turn as they try to make their way to the safety of the American embassy.
