Night of the Living Carrots is a 2011 Halloween special directed by Robert Porter and produced by DreamWorks Animation. The movie features the popular characters from the animated film franchise "Monsters vs. Aliens".
The story begins as Susan Murphy (voiced by Reese Witherspoon), aka Ginormica, is looking forward to having a quiet Halloween night with her husband Derek (voiced by Seth Rogen) and the other Monsters. However, their plans are disrupted when a strange mutated pumpkin appears on their lawn and explodes, causing the neighboring vegetables to turn into zombie-like creatures.
As the creatures start to spread around the town, the Monsters find themselves facing a new challenge. With the help of Dr. Cockroach (voiced by Hugh Laurie) and The Missing Link (voiced by Will Arnett), Susan sets out to find a cure for the zombie epidemic before it's too late.
Along the way, they encounter a group of rebellious teenagers who are throwing a Halloween party at a local abandoned house. The teenagers become unwittingly involved in the Monsters' quest to save the town, and chaos ensues.
Night of the Living Carrots is a fun, action-packed adventure that is perfect for Halloween. It features the same humor and wit as the Monsters vs. Aliens films, with a spooky twist. The animation is bright and colorful, and the voice cast is excellent. Overall, it's a great way to get into the Halloween spirit!
