In the sequel to the popular family film Night at the Museum, Night at the Museum: Battle of the Smithsonian, Nick Daley, played by actor Nick Jonas, takes on the role of night watchman at the American Museum of Natural History just like his father Larry Daley, played by Ben Stiller, did in the original film.
When an Egyptian ruler named Kahmunrah, played by Hank Azaria, escapes from his exhibit to conquer the world, he brings with him an army of historic figures, including Napoleon Bonaparte, Al Capone, and Ivan the Terrible, as well as the infamous Teddy Roosevelt, played once again by Robin Williams. With the help of Amelia Earhart, played by Amy Adams, Nick must rally his museum friends to save the day and stop Kahmunrah and his minions from taking over the world.
Along with the usual comedy hijinks and historical gags, Night at the Museum: Kahmunrah Rises Again adds a new layer of action and adventure as the museum's characters battle not just each other, but also an evil force threatening the world outside their walls.
