In Next Friday, Craig's Uncle Elroy and cousin Day-Day live in a fancy house in the suburbs of Rancho Cucamonga. However, they are facing financial troubles and may lose the house to a scheming neighbor, Pinky. To make matters worse, Day-Day's ex-girlfriend, D'Wana, shows up with their child and demands child support.
Craig tries to help his family out but also has to deal with the crazy characters in the neighborhood, including the weed-smoking Joker, the Latino gangster Baby Joker, and the perverted neighbor Mr. Jones. He also starts a romance with Karla, a girl from the neighborhood.
Meanwhile, Debo escapes from prison and comes looking for Craig, leading to a hilarious showdown at the end of the movie. Next Friday features a lot of slapstick humor, silly pranks, and catchy rap music, making it a beloved comedy among hip hop fans.
