Sara is a young woman who visits her close friend, Val, at her luxurious home. But as soon as she arrives, Sara starts having strange visions of a shadowy figure lurking in the water of Val's swimming pool. Val is initially skeptical of her claims, but as more and more strange occurrences begin to happen, including the disappearance of several of their friends, Val begins to suspect that something sinister is happening.
The two women team up with a local researcher named Jacob to try to uncover the truth behind the mysterious creature that seems to be living in the pool. They soon discover that the creature is an ancient and malevolent entity that has been awakened by the arrival of Sara and her friends.
As the creature becomes more powerful and the danger becomes more real, Sara and her friends must figure out how to defeat it before it is too late. The movie is an intense thriller that combines elements of horror, mythology, and suspense as the characters struggle to survive against an all-powerful and terrifying foe.
