Necronomicon is a horror anthology film which was released in 1993. The wraparound story follows Lovecraft as he discovers the Necronomicon, a book containing ancient spells and rituals for raising the dead.

As he reads the book, Lovecraft is visited by a mysterious woman who warns him of the danger of meddling with such powerful forces.

In the final segment, "Whispers," a man inherits an old mansion and discovers ancient texts that allow him to summon otherworldly creatures. However, the entities he summons turn out to be far more dangerous than he anticipated.
