Necromancy

Horror  United States of America

In Necromancy, Orson Welles plays a man named Mr. Cato, who is the leader of a mysterious and powerful witches' coven. The coven is based in the town of Lilith, which is said to be cursed and surrounded by dark forces. The townspeople are wary of the coven and the strange goings-on that happen within their compound.

When Mr. Cato's son dies, he becomes desperate to bring him back to life. He discovers that he needs the help of a young and powerful medium named Jill (played by Pamela Franklin) to perform the necromantic ritual that will raise his son from the dead. Mr. Cato and his coven set out to manipulate and control Jill, using dark magic and psychological tactics to bend her will to their own.

Meanwhile, a young couple (played by Lee Purcell and Michael Ontkean) come to Lilith looking for work and end up getting caught up in the town's strange and eerie atmosphere. They eventually become entangled in the coven's plot and try to save Jill from their clutches.

Necromancy is a dark and atmospheric horror film, with strong performances from Welles and Franklin. It explores themes of manipulation, power, and the supernatural, and features eerie and unsettling visuals and sound design.
