As Naruto travels back in time, he discovers that the Fourth Hokage is in the middle of a battle against a mysterious enemy known as the "Masked Man." Together with Minato and his team of ninja, including a young Kakashi Hatake, they set out to stop the Masked Man's plans to destroy the village.
As Naruto learns more about the past, he also encounters a young and ill-tempered version of his sensei, Jiraiya. Through their interactions, Naruto gains a deeper understanding of Jiraiya's character and his own connection to the Sannin.
Meanwhile, Mukade continues to wreak havoc in the present day, as Naruto's friends and fellow ninja struggle to stop him and search for a way to bring Naruto back to the present.
As the two timelines begin to converge, Naruto and his allies must race against time to prevent the Masked Man's ultimate plan and bring an end to Mukade's reign of terror.
