In the movie, Naruto and his friend Sakura Haruno are transported to an alternate reality where their parents, who were killed during the Nine-Tailed Fox's attack, are still alive and Konoha is under the rule of the masked man, Obito Uchiha. In this reality, Naruto and Sakura's personalities are reversed, with Naruto being knowledgeable and agile while Sakura is brash and impulsive.
Naruto and Sakura team up with their alternate universe parents to take on Obito and his twisted version of Konoha. Along the way, they encounter familiar faces such as Sasuke Uchiha, who is now a loyal member of Obito's army, and Kiba Inuzuka, who is a successful businessman in this reality.
The movie explores the themes of family, identity, and the consequences of one's actions. Naruto struggles with the idea of being in a world where his dream of becoming Hokage has been realized but at a great cost. Sakura grapples with the reality of having her parents back but realizing that they are not the same people she remembers. In the end, they must work together to find a way back to their own reality and stop Obito's plan to create a world of illusions.
