Naked is a 2017 American comedy film directed by Michael Tiddes and written by Rick Alvarez and Marlon Wayans. The film revolves around Rob Anderson (played by Marlon Wayans), a carefree and irresponsible man who finds himself stuck in a time loop where he relives the same hour over and over again on the morning of his wedding day.
Rob is confused and disoriented, as he desperately tries to figure out what's going on and how to break the loop. He must race against time to get to the church and marry his fiancee, Megan (Regina Hall), all while navigating several obstacles that keep resetting every time the loop resets.
Throughout the film, Rob meets a cast of characters who become increasingly familiar as he recycles through his morning. These include his best man (Jonathan Todd Jackson), his father-in-law (Dennis Haysbert), a psychic (Loretta Devine), and several others.
As Rob tries to get through the repetitive day, he begins to realize that he has been ignoring his responsibilities and needs to start acting more like an adult. Ultimately, he comes to understand that he needs to become a better person if he is ever going to break the cycle and move on with his life.
The movie has received mixed reviews from critics, but Wayans' comedic performance has been praised as the highlight of the film.
