My Sweet Holiday centers around Sadie, a young woman whose plans for a Christmas vacation with her boyfriend are cancelled. Instead of moping around, she decides to visit her family back in her hometown, where she discovers that her family's beloved chocolate store has been sold to a stranger who knows nothing about chocolate.
Her father convinces her to help the new owner, who is struggling to run the business, by teaching them everything she knows about chocolate. Sadie reluctantly agrees and begins to work with the new owner, Michael, who is impressed with her knowledge and passion for chocolate.
While planning the perfect retirement party for her parents, Sadie realizes that not everything has to be perfect and that sometimes it's okay to let things go. She also begins to develop feelings for Michael, who shares her love of chocolate.
