In My Super Psycho Sweet 16, the spoiled teen in question is named Madison Penrose, who is accustomed to getting everything she wants. For her 16th birthday party, she convinces her parents to reopen the roller skating rink where a series of murders had taken place years before. Despite her parents' reservations, Madison insists on throwing the party at the rink.
As the party progresses, Madison's friends begin to disappear one by one, and it becomes clear that there is someone lurking in the shadows who is bent on taking revenge against Madison's family. As the body count rises, Madison begins to realize the true horror of what she has unleashed.
The film is a slasher movie that incorporates elements of teenage drama and coming-of-age themes. It was directed by Jacob Gentry and written by Jed Elinoff and Scott Thomas. My Super Psycho Sweet 16 was released in 2009 and spawned two sequels.
