Twilight Sparkle is transported through the magic mirror to a parallel world, where she finds herself transformed into a teenage girl who resembles her human counterpart. In this world, she discovers that her former unicorn powers have been replaced with mundane human abilities, and she must navigate high school life in order to recover the stolen crown and return to Equestria.
Along the way, Twilight befriends five teenagers who resemble her pony friends from home, including Pinkie Pie, Rainbow Dash, Rarity, Fluttershy, and Applejack. Together they work to recover the crown from Sunset Shimmer, a former student of the princess who has stolen it to gain power and control over the Crystal Empire in Equestria.
As Twilight navigates the challenges of high school life as a human, she learns important lessons about friendship and self-confidence. With the help of her new friends, she ultimately succeeds in defeating Sunset Shimmer and recovering the crown, allowing her to return to Equestria and restore peace to the Crystal Empire.
