My Dad Wrote a Porno is both a podcast and a comedy special. The podcast began in 2015 and quickly gained a devoted following due to its unique premise. Host Jamie Morton discovered his father had written a series of erotic novels under the pseudonym Rocky Flintstone. He teamed up with his friends James Cooper and Alice Levine to read and dissect the books, which they deemed poorly written and hilarious.
The trio recorded their discussions and released them as a podcast, which became hugely popular and has since been downloaded over 250 million times. The success of the podcast led to a live tour, culminating in a sold-out show at the Sydney Opera House.
