My Boyfriend's Back is a 1993 romantic-comedy-horror film directed by Bob Balaban and produced by Sean S. Cunningham. The film stars Andrew Lowery as Johnny Dingle, Traci Lind as Missy McCloud, and Danny Zorn as Eddie, Johnny's best friend.
The movie follows Johnny Dingle, a high school senior who has been in love with Missy McCloud since they were kids. Desperate to win her heart, he decides to ask her to the prom. However, things go horribly wrong when he is shot and killed while trying to defend her honor.
Determined to fulfill his dream of taking Missy to the prom, Johnny comes back from the dead as a zombie. He returns to school and tries to pick up where he left off, but his reanimated state presents some challenges. For example, he has to find ways to keep his decomposing body from falling apart.
Despite all the obstacles, Johnny manages to win Missy's heart and they go to the prom together. However, their happiness is short-lived when a group of jocks attempt to kill Johnny once again. In the end, Johnny sacrifices himself to save Missy and dies for good.
