The teenage boy, Jack, is a typical high school student who often finds himself at odds with his overprotective parents. He begrudgingly agrees to let his little sister, Emma, tag along for an evening out with his friends when their babysitter cancels at the last minute.
Enter Agent-Action, a confident and charismatic young woman who Jack and Emma both immediately adore. As the night progresses, they begin to suspect that there's more to Agent-Action than meets the eye. When a group of villains attempts to rob a nearby convenience store, Agent-Action reveals her true identity as a legendary superhero and springs into action.
From there, the story takes on a high-stakes tone as Agent-Action and the siblings work together to stop the villains' nefarious plan. Along the way, they encounter a colorful cast of characters, including other superheroes, dastardly villains, and a few unexpected allies.
