As the head of the powerful syndicate, Charlotte (played by Helen Mirren) has trained her children from a young age to be skilled assassins. Her three children, Adam, Lisa, and Jake, have grown up with violence and murder as a normalized part of their daily lives. However, when Charlotte falls seriously ill, they are forced to confront the fact that their mother won't be able to run the business for much longer.
With no clear successor, the siblings start jockeying for power, each trying to push their own agenda. Adam (played by Daniel Craig) is the eldest and the most ruthless of the siblings, but also the one with the most experience in the business. Lisa (played by Charlize Theron) is the middle child and the only daughter, wanting to prove herself to her mother and take the syndicate in a new direction that's less violent. Jake (played by Ansel Elgort) is the youngest and the wildest, eager to take over the business and make it even more profitable.
Adding to the chaos is Charlotte's younger boyfriend, Eddie (played by Idris Elba), who sees himself as the rightful heir to the syndicate. Eddie has always been a trusted confidant to Charlotte, but the siblings don't trust him and begin to suspect that he's planning a coup.
As Charlotte's health deteriorates, the family dynamic becomes more and more tense. It becomes clear that the only way to settle the power struggle is through violence, and the siblings begin to turn on each other. With the future of the syndicate at stake, the family must decide whether to stick together or destroy each other in their quest for power.
