Murder in the Vineyard is a made-for-TV movie that premiered on Lifetime on May 12, 2021. The film tells the story of a woman named Emma who works as a winemaker in California. Her daughter, Zoe, is a high school student who has been targeted by anonymous bullies through a social media app.
The harassment, which includes cruel and threatening messages, starts to take a toll on Zoe's mental health and Emma decides to take action. She meets with the school principal and the police, but they both tell her that they can't do much without concrete evidence.
Desperate to protect her daughter, Emma decides to take matters into her own hands. She starts to investigate the identity of the bullies, and with the help of a friend, she discovers that they are three teenage boys who attend Zoe's school.
One night, Zoe's car is vandalized, and Emma confronts the boys, who deny any involvement. However, Emma manages to find proof of their guilt and goes to the police. The boys are arrested, but soon after, Emma is shocked to find out that one of them has been murdered.
Emma becomes the prime suspect in the murder case, but she is determined to clear her name and find out who the real killer is. With the help of her ex-husband, who is a lawyer, she embarks on a dangerous journey to uncover the truth and protect her family.
