The film Murder at the Gallop, released in 1963, is based on Agatha Christie’s novel, “After the Funeral”. The plot revolves around the death of Mr. Enderby, a wealthy man who dies of a sudden heart attack. However, when Miss Marple and Mr. Stringer attend his funeral, they notice inconsistencies in the accounts of Enderby’s relatives, who appear to be more interested in their inheritance than grieving for the deceased.
Miss Marple suspects that there’s more to Enderby’s death than meets the eye and sets out to investigate, with the reluctant assistance of Mr. Stringer. The duo uncovers some startling information that suggests that Enderby may have been murdered, and suspects a member of the family to be the culprit.
