Munger Road is a horror/thriller film released in 2011, directed by Nicholas Smith and starring Bruce Davison, Randall Batinkoff and Trevor Morgan. The film takes place in St. Charles, Illinois, a quiet town that is gearing up for its annual Scarecrow Festival.

On the night before the festival, two police officers, Chief Kirkhoven (Davison) and Officer Wexler (Batinkoff), are on patrol when they receive a report of a possible return killer who was believed to have been responsible for a series of murders in the area several years earlier. The officers are skeptical at first, but soon realize that there may be more to the report than they initially thought.

Meanwhile, four teenagers, Cory (Morgan), Joe (Samuel Child), Scottie (Hallock Beals), and Nick (Andrew Stecker), decide to take a joyride on Munger Road, a notoriously dangerous and secluded stretch of road that is said to be haunted. As they drive along the road, their car suddenly breaks down, leaving them stranded in the middle of nowhere.

As the night wears on, the teenagers begin to experience strange and terrifying events, and they soon realize that they are not alone on Munger Road. Chief Kirkhoven and Officer Wexler also find themselves drawn to the road, and as the two storylines converge, they must race against time to save the teenagers and stop the return killer before it's too late.

Munger Road is a suspenseful and chilling film that blends elements of horror and mystery to create a tense and unpredictable story. The film's haunting setting, eerie atmosphere, and strong performances from its cast make it a must-see for fans of the genre.
