After initially being skeptical, Doug decides to undergo the cloning process in order to create a duplicate of himself to help with his workload and free up more time for himself. The first clone, "Two," is created and initially works out well, but soon begins to exhibit his own quirks and personality traits. In an attempt to fix some of Two's flaws, a second clone, "Three," is created and then a third, "Four." Each subsequent clone becomes increasingly flawed and unpredictable, causing chaos in Doug's personal and professional lives.

As the clones begin to take over Doug's life, he finds himself struggling to keep up with their demands and keep his secret from his wife and the rest of the world. Meanwhile, Laura becomes increasingly suspicious of Doug's erratic behavior and hires a private investigator to uncover the truth.

As the situation spirals out of control, Doug finally realizes the error of his ways and must find a way to put an end to the cloning experiment and reclaim his life before it's too late.
