Mrs. Brown's Boys D'Movie is a 2014 comedy film based on the popular Irish television show, Mrs. Brown's Boys. The story follows market-trader Agnes Brown and her family, who are facing financial trouble when a ruthless developer wants to tear down their market stall and replace it with a shopping center.
In a bid to save her livelihood, Mrs. Brown and her family rally their friends and the community to launch a campaign to fight the developer. Along the way, they enlist the help of a group of blind trainee ninjas, an alcoholic solicitor, and a barrister with Tourette's syndrome, who despite his outbursts, proves to be a valuable asset to the cause.
Throughout the film, Mrs. Brown and her family face a number of challenges, including dealing with a corrupt politician and a hostile media. However, their determination and unity ultimately help them to come out on top.
The movie is full of the same humor and heart as the television series, and features Brendan O'Carroll, who both wrote and stars in the film, as the hilarious and beloved Agnes Brown.
