Mr. Vampire II is a 1986 Hong Kong horror-comedy film directed by Ricky Lau. The movie centers around a group of grave-robbers who uncover a family of vampires in a burial ground. The archeologists are unaware of the vampires' existence and accidentally release them from their mystical seals.

The lead character in the film is Master Gau, a Taoist priest, played by Lam Ching Ying. He is responsible for capturing and neutralizing the vampires after they escape from the burial site. Master Gau is joined by his two assistants, Chau-Sang (played by Anthony Chan) and Man Choi (played by Ricky Hui).

As the archeologists transport the vampire child to a buyer, the magical spell on its forehead falls off, causing the creature to awaken and escape. The child finds itself alone in the world, lost and frightened. However, it soon befriends some local children, who are intrigued by the child's strange behavior.

Meanwhile, the parent vampires are also awakened by their child's escape and set out to find their missing offspring. Their first stop is a local store, where they encounter Master Gau and his students. The Taoist priest realizes the true nature of the creatures and decides to work tirelessly to stop them.

The story follows the group of vampires as they journey through various towns and cities, seeking to find their child. Through their travels, they encounter a variety of zany characters, including a group of nuns who use martial arts to defend themselves from the vampires.

The main plot point revolves around the local herbalist, who is hell-bent on destroying the vampires before they can cause too much damage. Alongside Master Gau, the herbalist is the only one capable of stopping the relentless creatures.

In the end, the vampires are vanquished, and the child is returned to its eternal slumber. The story concludes with Master Gau, Chau-Sang, and Man Choi riding off into the sunset, having saved the day and protected their community from the undead threats that lurked within their midst.
