Mr. Chandramouli is a Tamil sports drama film written and directed by Thiru and produced by Dhananjayan. The film revolves around the life of Raghav (played by Gautham Karthik), a professional boxer who dreams of becoming a champion. Raghav lives with his parents and grandfather, who are all former boxers. Raghav's father Chandramouli (played by Karthik) was a popular boxer in his youth but gave up the sport after an injury.
Raghav's life takes a turn when he falls in love with Madhu (played by Regina Cassandra), a radio jockey. However, his family is against their relationship as they come from different backgrounds. To make matters worse, Raghav's father is diagnosed with a rare illness and needs immediate treatment. Raghav is torn between his passion for boxing, his love for Madhu, and his responsibility towards his family. He faces several challenges both inside and outside the ring that test his perseverance, determination and character.
The film also features Varalaxmi Sarathkumar as a police officer who is investigating a rape case, which brings her to Raghav's gym.
