Moving is a comedy film released in 1988, directed by Alan Metter and starring Richard Pryor as Arlo Pear, a man who accepts a job promotion that requires him and his family to move from New Jersey to Boise, Idaho. Arlo's dream promotion turns into a nightmare as he encounters a series of hilarious misadventures and challenges while trying to relocate his family to their new home.
The plot of the movie centers on Arlo's attempts to sell their home, pack their belongings, and move across the country with his wife Monica (played by Beverly Todd), two teenage children and a dog.
