Michael Jackson: Moonwalking Through Time

Fantasy,Music  United States of America

Moonwalker is a 1988 American musical anthology film starring Michael Jackson. The film is a collection of music videos and short films, including some of Michael Jackson's greatest hits. It was directed by Jerry Kramer, Colin Chilvers, and Jim Blashfield.

The film starts with the "Man in the Mirror" music video and then transitions into a montage of Michael Jackson's career highlights. This is followed by a parody of Michael's "Bad" music video, in which children are shown reenacting the video with Michael. Next is a fantasy sequence in which Michael is chased by fans, with a motorbike chase and a dance-off.

After several more music videos, the film transitions to a storyline in which Michael plays a hero with magical powers. He is pursued by Mr. Big, a drug dealer portrayed as an evil version of Michael Jackson, who is played by Joe Pesci. Michael uses his magical powers to save three children from Mr. Big's clutches.

Throughout the film, Michael Jackson's signature dance moves and unique vocal sound are prominent. The music videos include his hits "Smooth Criminal", "Come Together", and "Leave Me Alone". Moonwalker was a commercial success upon release and is considered a cult classic among Michael Jackson fans.
