In Monster Hunt 2, we see Wuba now living with his human parents in a peaceful village. However, their peaceful life is disrupted when a group of monsters attack them in search of Wuba. Wuba's parents are forced to reveal that he is the rightful king of the monster world and he must go back to his own kind to avoid a war.
Wuba sets out on a journey with his new human friends, Xiaolan and her monster-hunter father, to find his own kind and claim his throne. On their journey, they meet new monsters, including a powerful ape-like creature called Tu, who joins them on their quest.
However, it soon becomes apparent that there are factions within the monster world who do not want Wuba to be king and will stop at nothing to prevent him from claiming his throne. Wuba and his friends must navigate through various challenges, including battling against rival monsters and dealing with a treacherous group of humans who have their own agenda.
The group eventually reaches the Monster King's palace, where Wuba must face off against his own uncle, who seeks to overthrow him and take the throne for himself. With the help of his friends and the other monsters, Wuba ultimately emerges victorious and becomes the rightful king, bringing peace and harmony between monsters and humans.
