In Monster High: Frights, Camera, Action!, Draculaura is led to believe that she is the rightful heir to the vampire throne. She and her ghoulfriends, Clawdeen Wolf, Frankie Stein, and Cleo De Nile, are then taken to Transylvania, where they are to witness Draculaura's coronation as the new queen of the vampires.
However, during the coronation, it is revealed that the hunt for the true queen is not over yet. The only way to identify the true queen is to locate an ancient artifact known as the Vampire's Heart. The Ghouls must go on a fangtastic adventure to find this artifact and uncover the true identity of the Vampire Queen.
Their journey takes them from the Tower of Londoom to a haunted riverboat in New Goreleans, and finally to the boo-vie lots of Hauntlywood. Along the way, they encounter new ghouls, including Elissabat, a famous vampire actress who is also in search of the Vampire's Heart.
In the end, Draculaura discovers her true heritage and receives her vampire powers. The Ghouls also learn about the importance of friendship and working together to overcome obstacles. The film is full of humor, music, and, of course, lots of Halloween-inspired fun.
