The two astrobiologists, Dr. Quent Brady and Dr. Dan Morgan, are determined to bring back the wasps, which are crucial to their research, and embark on a dangerous mission to retrieve them. Joining them on their expedition is Mark, their pilot, and Andrea, a photographer.
After crash-landing in the jungles of Africa, the group starts to encounter the giant wasps, which have grown to enormous proportions due to their exposure to radiation in space. The wasps are not only larger, but also more aggressive and deadly.
As they make their way deeper into the jungle, the group encounters local tribes, including a chief who warns them about the dangers of the giant wasps. Despite the warning, the group continues their quest to find the rocket and retrieve their experiment.
Along the way, they also encounter other dangerous animals, such as crocodiles and snakes, and face numerous obstacles on their journey. Suspense builds as the giant wasps continue to wreak havoc in their search for food.
In the end, the group manages to retrieve their experiment and escape the jungle, narrowly avoiding the wrath of the giant wasps. The film ends with Dr. Brady reflecting on their mission, acknowledging the dangers they faced but also celebrating the significance of their groundbreaking research.
