Monkie Kid: A Hero Is Born is an animated movie produced by LEGO Group and based on the Chinese legend of the Monkey King. The story follows MK, a young boy living in a futuristic city, who is obsessed with the tales of the Monkey King and other mythical heroes.
One day, MK witnesses the evil Red Son and Princess Iron Fan releasing the Demon Bull King from his prison under the city's mountains. The Demon Bull King is a powerful villain who wants to take over the city and enslave its inhabitants. In the chaos that follows the release of the Demon Bull King, MK accidentally grabs the Monkey King's magical staff and becomes the chosen one to save the city from the evil villain.
As MK embarks on his journey to return the staff to Monkey King, he is joined by a group of unlikely heroes, including Pigsy, Sandy, and the White Dragon Horse, who offer their help and expertise. Together, they face many challenges and obstacles, including battling Red Son and Princess Iron Fan's minions and outwitting the Demon Bull King's devious plans.
Throughout the movie, MK learns important lessons about teamwork, leadership, and the true meaning of heroism. With the help of his new friends and the wisdom of the Monkey King, MK sets out to save the city and become the hero he was always meant to be.
