Mom and Dad Save the World is a 1992 science fiction comedy film directed by Greg Beeman. The film follows the misadventures of Marge and Dick Nelson, a suburban couple who find themselves transported to a distant planet called Spengo, ruled by Emperor Tod Spengo.
Emperor Spengo is a bumbling megalomaniac who is obsessed with world domination and making Marge his queen. He uses a powerful magnet to abduct Marge and Dick from Earth, bringing them to Spengo where they are imprisoned in his palace.
