Mohawk is a 2017 historical action-thriller movie directed by Ted Geoghegan. It is set during the War of 1812, and follows the story of a young Mohawk woman named Oak, who finds herself caught in the middle of a conflict between her people and a squad of American soldiers out for revenge. Along with her lovers, Joshua and Calvin, Oak embarks on a perilous journey through the Mohawk Valley, fighting to survive against the invading soldiers who are determined to wipe out her tribe. As the death toll rises, Oak and her companions must use every skill and means at their disposal to escape the soldiers and protect their homeland. The movie explores themes of love, loyalty, and betrayal amidst the chaos of war. It stars Kaniehtiio Horn, Justin Rain, and Ezra Buzzington.
