Da-hee, a highly skilled Chinese secret agent, is tasked with investigating the illegal firearms trade in Korea. Upon arrival, she meets Su-han, a bumbling private investigator who is supposed to aid her in the case. They both are appointed by their respective agencies to cooperate and work together on this mission.
Their initial interactions are strained as they constantly bicker and argue over trivial things. However, as they delve deeper into the case, they begin to develop a grudging respect for each other's skills.
As they follow the trail of the illegal arms dealers, their witnesses start to turn up dead, and the duo quickly becomes the prime suspects. Now, with the police hot on their trail, they must clear their names and bring the criminals to justice.
Throughout the movie, Da-hee and Su-han encounter numerous hurdles, from dangerous foot chases through the streets of Korea to high-speed car chases. As they work to unravel the truth of the case, they must also contend with their growing attraction to each other.
In the end, they succeed in uncovering the smuggling ring and bringing the perpetrators to justice. Da-hee and Su-han part ways, both having gained a newfound respect for one another and a better understanding of what it means to work as a team.
