Mission: Impossible is a 1996 action spy film directed by Brian De Palma and written by David Koepp and Robert Towne. It stars Tom Cruise as Ethan Hunt, a skilled operative for the Impossible Mission Force (IMF) who is framed for the deaths of his entire team during a failed mission in Prague.
