Missed Connections is a heartwarming romantic-comedy about Sarah, a young woman who believes in true love and destiny. One day, while at a coffee shop, Sarah has a chance encounter with a handsome stranger named Jake. They connect over their shared love of books and travel, and Sarah thinks she has found the man of her dreams.
However, Jake disappears before Sarah gets a chance to exchange contact information with him. Devastated, Sarah decides to take matters into her own hands and turns to an app called “Missed Connections” to try and find Jake.
As Sarah goes on a series of blind dates, she begins to realize that maybe Jake wasn't the perfect guy for her after all. With the help of her best friend and the wisdom of her grandmother, Sarah learns that true love is not about finding the perfect person, but about learning to love the imperfect ones.
In the end, Sarah does find Jake again, but she has grown and learned so much about herself that she realizes it's time to move on and find someone who complements her better.
