Mindhunters is a crime-thriller movie released in 2004. The film revolves around a group of young FBI trainees who specialize in psychological profiling. The group is led by instructor Jake Harris (Val Kilmer) and includes several promising trainees, each with their own unique abilities.
The trainees are sent to a remote island for a training exercise, where they are tasked with solving a mock crime scenario. However, things take a deadly turn when they realize that there is a real-life serial killer among them and that the fake scenario has turned into a real-life murder investigation.
As the trainees try to solve the crime and identify the killer, they begin to turn on each other, suspecting everyone of being the killer. As the body count rises, it becomes clear that the killer knows everything about the trainees and is always one step ahead of them.
The cast includes Jonny Lee Miller, Kathryn Morris, Christian Slater, LL Cool J, and Patricia Velasquez, among others. Mindhunters is a tense and suspenseful movie that keeps the viewers on the edge of their seats until the very end.
