Midnight FM is a Korean thriller movie released in 2010. It follows the story of Sun-Young, played by Soo-Ae, a popular TV anchorwoman and a late-night radio host who receives a threatening text message while on air. The message is from a man who has broken into her apartment and is now holding her sister hostage. He demands that Sun-Young follows his instructions during her show and that she must not involve the police.
Despite being scared for her life and that of her sister's, Sun-Young decides to comply with the attacker's demands to protect her child and her family. As the situation unfolds, she realizes that the man is not just a random attacker, but someone who has a personal vendetta against her.
Throughout the movie, tension and suspense build up as Sun-Young tries to stay alive while also ensuring the safety of her family. She uses her radio show to send coded messages to the police without anyone else realizing what's happening. With each passing moment, the stakes get higher, and the psychological warfare between Sun-Young and the attacker intensifies.
The movie is a gripping thriller that plays on the fear of being out of control and the lengths a mother will go to protect her child.
